School of the World Costa Rica Spanish School in Playa Jaco

The Spanish School of the World has a different concept than most language schools as it combines several varying aspects of life together. It is not only a language school but also a surfing school and a photography workshop with some adventure added for good measure!

Students can make their own choice from either learning Spanish on its own or by combining the language with one of the options available. One of the most popular mixes is Spanish and surfing; the classes are arranged around the tides so that students can make the most of the best surf. Digital photography can also be combined with Spanish lessons as can the art of yoga.

Whichever option students select there are also excursions available including a trip up theTarcoles River to observe the resident crocodiles and a hike to the beautifully serene Three Pools Waterfall.

The majority of the students at the School of the World Costa Rica are aged 18 - 45 and they are from all over the world. The classes are generally small and contain the maximum of 6 students.
